Daisy Long, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Connecticut dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and life transitions, including periods of change where individuals may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
Daisy earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University and has clinical experience in hospital settings, outpatient addiction treatment, and community mental health programs. She has provided individual and group therapy, treatment planning, crisis support, and care coordination while supporting individuals working toward recovery, stability, and improved emotional wellness.
Daisy’s therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She believes in partnering with clients to support their growth, helping them develop coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and make meaningful progress toward the changes they want to see in their lives. She is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their strengths and move forward with confidence and direction.
