Ms. Marva Patterson is a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapist who provides virtual counseling through Transformative Therapy & Wellness Services. She holds a Master’s degree in Social and Health Psychology from the University of Saint Joseph and is committed to helping individuals better understand themselves, work through challenges, and create healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Marva believes that feeling comfortable and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process. She works to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can speak openly about what they are experiencing without fear of judgment. Through thoughtful conversations and support, she helps clients explore their concerns, recognize patterns that may be holding them back, and identify practical steps toward positive change.
Her approach is centered on listening and understanding each client as an individual. Marva recognizes that everyone’s experiences are different, and she takes the time to understand each person’s needs, goals, and circumstances. She encourages clients to take an active role in their own well-being while providing the guidance and support they need along the way.
Marva is also committed to continuing her professional growth and staying informed about current research and developments in mental health. She brings that knowledge into her work while maintaining a genuine, caring approach with every client she serves.
For Marva, therapy is about creating a space where people can feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
